” I want to empower women by making more fashionable clothing options that serve every woman’s need.” Mahmoud Wahdan Jr. founder of ZAW.

Wahdan was born in 1991 into a family of garment producers and designers who have been around since the 1940’s and specialize in men’s wear. His passion for the craft was natural. Having enough in-house experience and a degree in business administration, he decided to follow in his family’s footsteps. The designer/creator took the plunge and decided to carve his niche in the world of women’s fashion, creating garments that leave a long-lasting impression and make women feel powerful. This led to the birth of ZAW, a rising star in modest fashion.

The Queen’s wardrobe on has a regal feel to it indeed. The long draping silk dresses with oversized majestic red patch pockets take you back in time as they remind you of Roman princesses. The wide, floral motif dresses are of a more relaxed silhouette and are reminiscent of African royalty. There are also some very city friendly trouser looks that are beautiful as ensembles or as separates. One ensemble that stands out is of a red pair of pants and a red silk top with exaggerated sleeves. Some looks have a very current day European princess flair. Ancient Egypt comes to mind with the long silk blue dress. So, whatever kind of princess a woman is, ZAW’s Queen’s wardrobe has got her covered.
