The Artist Playground by Pullman Launch Review by Yusra Ravat

There’s nothing we love more than perusing a bit of local art, and the launch of the Artist Playground by Pullman, in partnership with the IFDC was an event that did more than tickle our tastebuds for all things inspired.

The Artist playground by Pullman in partnership with the IFDC launch was held on the 2 November at the t-Lounge by Dilmah in the Pullman hotel, Dubai.

The event was a glitzy affair with rows of fascinating finger foods and exotic teas to match. Blood orange tea infused crème brulee, Earl Grey infused cookies, rose tea infused panacotta and Moroccan mint iced tea were but a few of the tantalizing temptations on the menu.

The food was art itself, but the star of the show had to be the amazing pieces on display; striking illusions, unique aspect sculptures, magical calligraphies, meditative art, remarkable miniatures, and exquisite art-like wood furniture, to name but a few.

The artists were in attendance to speak with the audience about their respective works, and the conversations surrounding art, inspiration and meaning led the evening to be surrounded by an aura of creativity, passion, inventiveness and potential.

It was the perfect way to launch a great little space where beautiful creations can be shared.

The selected artists’ works will remain on sale and on permanent display at this exhibit for up to three months, before fresh artworks will be brought in.
