I’ve been following modest fashion trends on Instagram, Pinterest and at Dubai based events like IFDC’s PACBL for a long time and have noticed that there’s a lack of styling for plus-sized women. Often wider-cuts or kaftan styles can add extra bulk and make you appear larger. Does anyone have any recommendations for a designer or a label who styles for larger sizes?

According to a Marie Claire Uk The stats suggest that over 50% of women now wear a size 14+, suggesting the market for plus size fashion is quickly catching up with, and might even overtake, its straight size sister. here is a list of brands they recommended for + sizes 🙂

Anna Scholz, Universal Standard, Yoek, Manon Baptiste at Navabi, Elvi, City Chic at Evans, Coast at Simply Be, Society Plus, Studio Eight, Plus Equals, Carmakoma, Collection@Evans, Mat@Navabi.
    hope this was helpful 🙂

Wow, I didn’t realise that the stats were that high, over 50%! Is that just in the UK or world-wide? I can imagine there must be a few countries that are skewing the data if it is worldwide. Thank you so much for taking the time to share all those plus-sized brands with me, I really appreciate it and shall certainly be sharing my new looks with you right here! Great info.
