To make your dreams come true, all you need is a clear vision and a strong determination. Having no formal training in fashion, the talented trio of Zulkifli sisters – Nurul, Amirah and Syahirah, started off Mimpikita as an online blog store in an attempt to make their dream a reality. Within a year of its online launch in 2008, they had their own retail store in Bangsar, Isetan KLCC. Translated as “our dreams”, Mimpikita is just that for these three beautiful sisters.
Mimpikita is now an international fashion house with stores in Islington, London and Singapore, along with their flagship shop in Bangsar. They have also debuted at Fashion Scout, London Fashion Week in September 2015. Known for combining highest quality materials and impeccable craftsmanship, this fashion house aims to create cosmopolitan yet functional designs. Mimpikita’s style can best be described as laid-back, with simple yet elegant silhouette and classic cuts. Their clothing line has a strong emphasis on comfort for its clients. Their ready-to-wear collections blend traditional infusions, exquisite detailing and beautifully embellished fabrics with a modern interpretation.
Although Mimpikita wasn’t initially intended to be a modest fashion house, it soon made its mark in this market. Mimpikita is now an internationally acclaimed modest fashion brand that is being proudly showcased in IFDC’s Pret-A Cover™ Buyers Lane.
