IFDC Launches Sustainable Fashion Department with Ayesha Siddequa as IFDC Middle East Manager:

Ayesha Siddequa has been pioneering ethical fashion for years and now she brings her sustainable and ethical fashion expertise along with her management skills to IFDC. Her aim is to develop a department at IFDC which will provide a voice and a channel for ethically produced fashion brands that do not compromise on quality and style. With a Masters Degree in Corporate and Social Responsibility obtained at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK and more than 12 years of corporate experience in interior design, event management, and CSR – Ayesha is a strong addition to the IFDC global family. Ayesha is actively involved with local and international initiatives including Fashion Revolution Day where she is the UAE Country Coordinator, she is IFDC’s rep at The Global Sustainable Fashion Week as a member of the International Executive Board sitting on IFDC’s seat, and she is a part of the Guinness World Record Holder for creating the largest Abaya to promote the work of artists from Mawaheb for beautiful people, an art studio for adults with special needs in Dubai, UAE. Ayesha’s philosophy on success is believing that every modest fashion brand should give back to the community and be one with the environment.
