Islamic Fashion & Design Council (IFDC) returned to Torino Fashion Week (TFW)’s in their official partnership to showcase the modest runways to a global audience! The dynamic IFDC designers showcased collections ranging from streetwear, ready-to-wear, right up to red carpet looks. They dazzled the audiences and attending media all the way to the final IFDC Awards show.
IFDC modest fashion exclusive runways highlighted modest fashion leading brands, namely Chantique (Dubai), Alice Giani Margi (Italy), Luya Moda (UK), and Coèga Sunwear (Dubai) who all showcased their winning blends of riveting sense of style and modest-enriched pieces. The greatly anticipated finale of the IFDC Awards brought great excitement as Luya Moda was announced the winners this year.
IFDC and TFW continue to renew their joint commitment to promoting and supporting global modest designers and brands who deserve to be catapulted to the next level of their careers.

Media partners, Vogue and La Stampa attended the runway shows as both were committed to providing extensive coverage of the IFDC Modest Runways and the esteemed IFDC Awards finale. Other media attending gave IFDC designers press reach that represented exposure to all continents of the world.
The IFDC Awards jury panel was made up of Sara Aslaoui, Country Manager of IFDC Italia, Diala Kabbara PhD., adjunct professor, Department of Business and Economics, University of Pavia, and Federica Leonetti, Chair of the Textile and Fashion Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network.
“As a jury member, it was really tough to choose the winner since all the designers have so much talent. We have seen fantastic and diverse collections running from ready-to-wear, luxury even sunwear collection that look stylish while remaining modestly covered,” said Diala Kabbara PhD., adjunct professor at the Department of Business and Economics, University of Pavia. She added, “Luya Moda was selected as the winner for its outstanding collection that was colourful, comfortable, easy to wear and suitable for different occasions and satisfying a wide range of consumers”. The prize for the best designer of IFDC Awards, includes expense-paid headlining at TFW 2020.
IFDC will continue to provide a firm platform in promoting promising modest fashion talent globally while also remaining committed to effectively developing a lucrative modest fashion industry worldwide.
